To Die For

I have made some wonderful new friends
and reconnected with some old friends
I am certainly not alone now
I still feel the need for something or someone else
there a void left you cannot fill
waiting for someone to connect with to fill
you cannot fill that void
is there anyone out there someone to die for
or someone to live for
I lived for you and I felt alive when we were together
I have never wanted to die for you because I wouldn't have left you alone
like you have left me alone, you died for me because I am dead to you
